Lift-out is scheduled for Saturday October 5 starting at 8:00. This year we will attempt to lift all the boats into the parking lot using one crane. The hydraulic trailer will allow us to clear the east side of the parking lot and the area in front of the crane pad to make room for the heavier boats.
This means we have to revise our lift layout. If you wish to be lifted out, you will have to contact Jim Coffin by September 20.
We will not lift boats onto cradles with the mast stored on deck if it overhangs more than 3 feet beyond the bow or stern. As in the past, boats with mast up require the backstay to be removed to accommodate the crane spreader bars. Club rules limit lifting boats with mast installed to those with keel stepped masts. If the lift captain does not feel comfortable about lifting your boat with the mast on, your boat will not be lifted.
